I have had the privilege of caring for eight incredible dogs, each with a unique story that reflects the diversity and resilience of rescue animals. One was a puppy I discovered in a mountain drainage ditch, vulnerable and in need of immediate care. Another came from an abusive background—though the full extent of their trauma was unknown, I learned about their past through patient interaction and observing their reactions and behavior over time.
Three puppies were abandoned at a garbage dump; I kept two of them when no one else wanted them, and one was happily adopted by a loving family. Additionally, three puppies were born to a village dog with no owner but who lives freely in the village area. Lastly, two of my dogs were adopted from a dog shelter, further enriching my experience with rescue animals.
My journey has also included working with aggressive dogs, many of whom exhibit behaviors shaped by fear or trauma. Through consistent, compassionate handling and positive reinforcement, I have helped several dogs overcome aggression, enabling them to develop trust and enjoy happier lives.
I am actively involved in catch-and-release programs aimed at neutering and spaying stray dogs. This initiative is essential in helping control the stray population humanely and preventing the suffering that comes with overpopulation. The process requires care and expertise to safely handle the dogs and ensure their well-being before returning them to their familiar surroundings.

Volunteering at rescue shelters and kennels has allowed me to contribute to the welfare of many dogs beyond my own. This experience has deepened my understanding of the needs and challenges faced by rescued dogs, including rehabilitation, socialization, and medical care. It’s rewarding to see these dogs regain trust and find new homes.

Cherishing Long-Term Companionship
My eldest dog lived to the age of 14, a testament to the love, care, and attention given over many years. This long companionship has been a source of joy and inspiration, reinforcing my belief in the profound bond between humans and dogs, especially those who have been rescued and given a second chance.
Each dog in my care carries a story of hope and resilience. Through rescue, rehabilitation, and ongoing care, I am committed to making a difference in the lives of dogs and supporting the vital work of shelters and rescue programs.
